The Poems

On every bottle, language is given a voice through an original poem on the back label. Each vintage is presented as a new Volume, and every Volume features a poem on the back label titled My Taal—My Language. For every release, a different South African artist is invited to contribute a poem, adding a distinct voice and interpretation to the series.

Over the years, these contributions have grown into a living collection of writing — a body of work that evolves with each vintage, reflecting the richness, diversity, and character that the wines themselves aim to express. Here you can discover and read the poems that accompany each Volume.
